PASS
What is PASS?
PASS (Promoting Achievement & Student Success) is a leadership and mentoring program that equips students to make positive choices in their lives and in their communities. The Chavez PASS AmeriCorps mentor serves as a positive role model and is trained and placed at school sites, providing individual and group mentoring, discussions, tutoring, grades and attendance reviews, community service projects and much more!
Meet Your PASS Representative!
Hello Cougar friends and family!
I’m Ms. Luna! I am excited and honored to be the PASS AmeriCorps mentor for the 2023-2024
school year! This is my third year with the PASS AmeriCorps program and I am thrilled to be
able to see you all again and continue supporting you in any way possible! I am here to act as a
mentor, a resource, and a positive role model for the students of Cesar Chavez Middle School
and I am confident that this will be an AMAZING school year, just like the last!
As an Oceanside native, it means a lot to me to be able to give back to this beautiful community.
PASS AC has a special place in my heart because of all the work we do to support our
communities and school. We offer many services during the school day and sometimes after!
Your child can gain in-class academic support, social/emotional support, access to community
events and projects, and volunteer opportunities.
For more information, visit our website, give me a call, or send me an email! I look forward to
working closely with you all this school year!
GO COUGARS!
