School Site Council

The School Site Council is a governing body that is responsible for deciding how to categorize money to improve the instructional program here at César Chávez Middle School. The School Site Council members work together to set goals, for improving student achievement at the school and allocating the funds to accomplish those goals. For the coming school year, we have four parent openings.  At César Chávez Middle School, members of the SSC include the principal, classroom teachers, other staff members, and parents. Members of the SSC are elected by their peers; therefore, parents are elected by parents. A member serves for two years.

MEETING DATES

All meetings take place on Tuesdays from 2:50pm – 3:45 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings. Only SSC members will be allowed to vote on agenda items. Dates of scheduled meetings are listed below. Additional dates will be scheduled as appropriate:
